Arab Organization for Industrialization and ‘Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology’ Expand Egypt Joint Factory by Manufacturing Smart Phones
AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for
Technology (TAGTech), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.GD), has
announced the expansion of their Egypt electronics factory, established in
cooperation with Egypt Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) by
including the production of a new generation of smartphones, to address
the growing demand in the Egyptian and African markets.
This strategic collaboration comes in response to a formal letter from Major General Eng. Mokhtar AbdelLatif, IOA chairman, encouraging the enhancement of the joint cooperation. The letter was delivered by Major General Ahmed Abdel Aziz, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electronics Factory at IOA.
Accordingly, the Egyptian and Jordanian partners announced their shared intention to expand the scope of collaboration, building upon the significant success of the TAGTech–Pluto partnership, which has become a distinguished model for investment in the Arab region.
It is worth mentioning that the success of this initiative is attributed to the unwavering support of the Egyptian and Jordanian leaderships in both countries. In this context, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II and HE President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for their guidance and leadership in supporting this joint venture.
As a gesture of appreciation, Major General Eng. AbdelLatif presented Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh with an honorary shield on behalf of the joint administration. The shield features the name "Abu-Ghazaleh" along with the national flags of Egypt and Jordan, symbolizing the deep relationship between the two countries and their leaderships, which has been an essential foundation in the success of this collaboration.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh further expressed his deep pride in receiving this shield, reaffirming his full commitment and readiness to advancing the scope of this partnership into broader domains, starting with the production of a new line of nationally manufactured smartphones. These devices will offer citizens high-quality products at competitive prices, as a continuation of the company’s long-lasting commitment for offering high-tech electronic products.
